The candidate will analyze tax information provided by expatriate tax clients. Handle various aspects of the tax return preparation engagement. Provide information and feedback to clients related to their tax compliance engagement and refer any unresolved client concerns to management. Leverage internal resources to research unclear tax issues presented by clients. Remain current with company policies and procedures related to tax preparation and offering other financial products. Attend paid training required for the position. Develop high-level knowledge of foreign tax and financial systems in order to enhance the client experience. Read other business and tax publications, as recommended by management. Associate of Arts is needed. Should have 2+ years of related work experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed. Prior experience working in a customer service environment is needed. Prior experience supporting ex-pat clients with H&R Block's Expat Tax Services department is essential. Prior experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, Word) is needed. Prior experience working with expatriate tax clients is a plus.
