Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm located in Warren, Ohio, is currently looking to add a litigation-focused attorney to its personal injury team. This position offers the opportunity to manage an active caseload, from client intake through trial, and collaborate with an experienced support staff in a fast-paced and client-centered environment.

Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases at all stages of litigation

• Prepare and file motions, complaints, responses, and related pleadings

• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert professionals

• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and courtroom proceedings

• Handle a limited number of pre-suit files when necessary

• Develop legal strategies based on a thorough case investigation

• Negotiate resolutions with insurers and opposing counsel

• Coordinate efforts with legal assistants and investigators

• Maintain accurate records, timelines, and case documentation

• Remain informed about evolving personal injury laws and litigation trends

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Ohio

• At least one year of personal injury litigation experience

• 2-5 years of experience in either plaintiff or defense injury matters

• Familiarity with legal procedures, trial preparation, and case evaluation

• Proficiency in legal writing, oral advocacy, and client interaction

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple files and meet legal deadlines

• Independent work ethic combined with strong collaboration skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Ohio Bar membership
