A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney specializing in Consular Processing and Waivers in San Juan, PR. Duties

• Manage workload of CP/Waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa.
• Prepare clients for their consulate interviews.
• Represent clients before USCIS.
• Review immigration applications and packets prepared.
• Manage a team of paralegals to meet productivity goals and client expectations.
• Provide legal analysis for clients to determine any possible case benefits.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Ability to work collaboratively with fellow associates.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Proven record of advancing legal cases and managing a caseload.
• Experience with Consular Processing applications and Waivers.
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law.
