Duties:

• Conduct patentability searches and analyze prior art.
• Draft patent applications and respond to office actions.
• Provide legal advice on patent matters, including infringement analysis and validity opinions.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop patent strategies.
• Manage patent portfolios and perform portfolio analysis.
• Assist in patent litigation support and licensing negotiations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in intellectual property transactions.
• Admitted to practice before the USPTO.
• Strong understanding of patent laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in drafting patent applications and office action responses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree is preferred but not required.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice before the USPTO is mandatory.
