A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled CPU Design Technology Specialist to contribute to its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in drafting patent applications, corresponding with patent offices, advising on patent litigation matters, and conducting interviews with inventors.

Job Details:

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, encompassing detailed descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with patent offices to manage and follow up on pending patent applications.
• Provide technical and scientific expertise to patent litigation teams, offering valuable insights and guidance.
• Conduct interviews with inventors to gain a comprehensive understanding of new ideas and innovations.

Requirements:

• Possess a strong background in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in CPU Design, including virtual memory management.
• An advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.

Skills:

• Superior writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office is preferred.

Education:

• A degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required.
• An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
