Senior Contracts Counsel
The candidate will develop the contracting legal function within team, oversee policies and processes for Applied Innovation, including the Development of template agreements and negotiation practices, Implementation and oversight of a contracts management process, Prepare and negotiate agreements including, software and technology licensing agreements, master service agreements, clinical trial agreements, clinical development agreements, sponsored research agreements, consulting agreements, confidential disclosure agreements, and academic and private sector collaboration agreements. Partner with external counsel as needed on agreement drafting and execution. Work closely with finance teams to guide contract processes, and suggest and implement new / more efficient processes as needed. Ensure contracts are compliant with legal regulations and company policies. Proactively guide function on contractual rights and obligations. Provide legal support to business development activities as needed.
