Duties

• Manage caseload from inception through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare and file dispositive motions.
• Handle arbitrations and mediations.
• Prepare comprehensive status reports for insurers.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and scheduling requirements.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare strategic memoranda.

Requirements

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• At least 5 years of experience in Transportation, Construction Litigation, and Tort Liability defense.
• Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Perform legal research and respond to discovery requests.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
