A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team remotely in Vermont. The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of District Court trial experience and will handle both virtual and occasional in-person court appearances. This role involves working independently and collaboratively on litigated matters.

Duties

• Attend daily court appearances for conferences, motions, and other matters.
• Manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated claims.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and review legal documents.
• Collaborate with senior management and clients to resolve matters.
• Work with paralegals and support staff on legal demands.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the VT bar.
• Self-directed with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• Team player with collaborative skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Admitted to the Vermont Bar

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks.
• Experience in litigation or creditor's rights preferred.
• Additional bar admissions are a plus.
