A multi-state law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney licensed in Colorado to join its litigation team. This role focuses primarily on workers’ compensation defense with additional exposure to general insurance and civil litigation. The position is ideal for attorneys looking to grow within a collaborative environment and gain hands-on experience managing a diverse portfolio of cases. Hybrid and remote flexibility is offered, along with mentorship for newer attorneys.

Location:

• Denver, CO

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters for clients in Colorado and Nebraska

• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and administrative proceedings

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

• Analyze case facts and develop litigation strategy

• Maintain accurate records, deadlines, and billable time

• Collaborate with supervising attorneys and team members across multiple jurisdictions

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and administrative bodies

Requirements:

• Strong interest in litigation and workers’ compensation law

• Effective case and time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado

• Licensure in additional states (e.g., Nebraska) is a plus

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities
