Assistant Counsel - Equipment Finance
Responsibilities: Providing legal advice to management and staff within Bank Equipment Finance (KEF) on all legal aspects for equipment leasing and financing business, including its middle-market and large corporate groups; Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of non-standard legal documentation with customers, vendors, funders; Performing legal research and provide summaries of findings required or as assigned; Continuous updating of standard legal documentation; Provide legal updates to co-workers regarding areas of expertise as appropriate: Coordination and supervision of external lawyers; Develop and maintain strong collaborative and collegial relationships with clients and Law Department colleagues; Project management; Keep informed of legislation, court cases and other decisions affecting assigned functional group; Assist in legal training projects; and Other duties, special projects, and special reporting as assigned by Assistant General Counsel.
