A law firm seeks a Transportation and Tort Litigation Attorney in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will join a collaborative team, handling complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Duties

• Handle complex litigation matters independently.
• Engage in commercial auto, PIP fraud investigations, and premises liability cases.
• Manage Michigan no-fault, third-party, and commercial auto liability claims.
• Draft pleadings, take depositions, and argue motions.
• Develop and expand client relationships.

Requirements

• 4+ years of litigation experience, preferably in defense matters.
• Courtroom experience in Michigan state and/or federal courts.
• Knowledge of local rules and court procedures.
• Strong research, legal writing, and communication skills.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Michigan Bar in good standing.
