Job Overview

A prominent U.S. law firm with a nationally recognized Trademark & Copyright practice is seeking a Trademark Associate with at least 3 years of experience focused on trademark clearance and prosecution. This position offers the chance to work on sophisticated matters for globally recognized clients. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Location

Duties

• Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios for major clients

• Conduct complex trademark clearance and prosecution

• Advise on global branding and IP protection strategies

• Draft and file trademark applications and responses

• Provide counsel to clients in the entertainment industry (preferred)

• Handle a high-volume docket with accuracy and organization

• Collaborate with a multi-office legal team and external stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 3 years of direct experience in trademark clearance and prosecution

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)

• Strong ability to manage high-level trademark matters across jurisdictions

• Excellent time management and attention to detail

• Proactive, self-motivated, and client-service oriented

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills

• Expertise in U.S. and international trademark law

• Advanced legal research and writing skills

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Effective bilingual communication skills

• Experience advising entertainment or media clients (preferred)
