Duties

• Develop an understanding of the client base and supported industries.
• Utilize legal precedents to address client situations and develop solutions.
• Research complex immigration issues and complete appropriate documentation.
• Execute case preparation and filings, and develop strategies for complex matters.
• Articulate complex issues to various audiences.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Participate in client meetings and provide proactive reporting.
• Ensure adherence to firm protocols for file maintenance and data quality.
• Meet productivity goals and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
• Participate in marketing and business development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards and policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney.
• Membership in a U.S. state bar or the District of Columbia bar.
• Experience researching complex immigration issues and formulating solutions.
• Experience utilizing legal precedents to develop solutions.
• Experience mentoring and providing feedback to associates and support staff.
• Understanding of immigration law requirements from a business perspective.
• Experience drafting and reviewing complex legal analyses and immigration petitions.

Education

• JD or LLM degree required.

Certifications

• Membership in a U.S. state bar or the District of Columbia bar required.
