Duties
- Defend employers in complex employment litigation, including wage and hour class and collective actions.
- Conduct witness interviews and prepare for and participate in depositions.
- Guide employers on federal and state employment law compliance.
- Draft workplace policies and assist with the development of employment training programs.
- Support trial preparation and, where applicable, participate in trial proceedings.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of substantive experience in employment litigation, with a focus on class and collective actions.
- Proven experience in conducting witness interviews and handling depositions.
- Familiarity with counseling employers on compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent academic background and strong legal writing and analytical skills.
- Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the office location.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active DE Bar membership in good standing.
Skills
- Strong litigation skills, including case strategy and deposition preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
