Duties

• Defend clients in class action lawsuits involving consumer protection, employment, data privacy, and product liability claims
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
• Develop case strategies and manage class certification challenges
• Draft legal memoranda, motions, and responses for court filings
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and co-counsel to manage complex litigation matters
• Monitor legal developments and regulatory changes relevant to class action defense

Requirements

• 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on class action defense
• Demonstrated success managing complex class action cases
• Familiarity with federal and California state court procedures
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments
• Experience interacting directly with clients and managing case-related communications

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
