Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join its High-Skilled Immigration team. This position focuses on assisting clients in industries such as technology, engineering, biosciences, and other innovative sectors with employment-based immigration matters. 

Location:

• Ann Arbor, MI

Duties:

• Advise clients on employment-based immigration matters, including EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW, and O-1 visa categories

• Develop and implement tailored legal strategies under the guidance of the Sr. Immigration Attorney

• Conduct detailed client interviews and strategy sessions

• Coordinate with clients to collect relevant documentation and supporting evidence

• Prepare and file immigrant visa applications and responses to Requests for Evidence

• Maintain communication with clients regarding status updates, timelines, and process clarification

• Monitor legal developments and conduct research relevant to evolving immigration law and policy

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school

• Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar

• Open to both entry-level and experienced attorneys

• Availability to work independently and collaboratively on a high-volume caseload

• Ability to manage strict legal deadlines and multiple client interactions

• Commitment to delivering compassionate, thorough, and proactive legal service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities

• Excellent communication and client service skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

• High emotional intelligence and empathy when working with clients

• Organizational skills and efficiency in managing a diverse caseload

• Familiarity with employment-based immigration preferred (but not required)
