A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join their team in Kansas City, KS. This full-time, in-office position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a supportive environment.

Duties

• Manage a caseload requiring litigation.
• Attend court hearings and conduct legal writing.
• Take depositions and serve as first chair at trial.
• Meet with clients and potential clients.
• Prepare cases for demand and negotiate settlements.
• Present cases to a Focus Group.

Requirements

• Kansas bar license or eligibility to take the next bar exam.
• Dual-licensure in Kansas and Missouri for Kansas City office attorneys.
• Experience in personal injury litigation is preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Kansas or Missouri.

Skills

• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
