A law firm seeks an experienced Medical Devices and Life Sciences Attorney to join its Healthcare & Insurance Division in Washington, D.C. Duties

• Draft and negotiate pharmaceutical and medical device development, marketing, clinical trial, distribution, and supply arrangements.
• Develop, update, and train on corporate compliance programs for drug and medical device manufacturers.
• Advise on medical device distribution and durable medical equipment licensing and reimbursement issues.
• Provide counsel on FDA requirements, including medical device reporting and product labeling.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in the field.
• Active license in the applicable jurisdiction or ability to waive into practice.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Exceptional research, writing, analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance and FDA requirements.
• Ability to manage complex legal matters independently.
