Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in Fort Lee, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in personal injury and employment law, demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage a substantial caseload efficiently.

Duties

• Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, medical providers, experts, defense counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage a caseload of 75-100 files from intake through settlement or trial.
• Draft Complaints, Motions, responsive pleadings, and settlement documents.
• Conduct depositions and attend court proceedings independently.
• Maintain records and file PIP Arbitrations/Lawsuits as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in personal injury and employment law.
• Proficiency in managing a high-volume caseload.
• Experience with legal database software, such as Needles/Neos, is a plus.
• Proficiency in Office 365 applications.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
