Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic personal injury practice. The selected candidate will independently manage a caseload from inception through trial, including active litigation in both state and federal courts. This opportunity is ideal for a trial-ready attorney with a strong courtroom presence and a passion for advocating on behalf of injury victims.

Duties:

• Initiate legal proceedings by meeting with clients and filing lawsuits

• Conduct written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions

• Schedule and take depositions of fact witnesses

• Retain qualified experts and attend expert depositions

• Represent clients at court hearings and pre-trial conferences

• Handle mediations and settlement negotiations

• Prepare cases for trial, including motions, exhibits, and witness preparation

• Try cases to verdict as lead or co-counsel

• Draft and file post-trial motions when necessary

• Participate in internal litigation meetings, file reviews, and trial preparation sessions

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Florida

• Demonstrated success in litigating personal injury matters, including jury trials

• Ability to manage a full litigation caseload independently

• Leadership capability to mentor and guide support staff or junior attorneys

• Outstanding oral advocacy and written communication skills

• Skilled in legal strategy, negotiation, and client management

• Strong research and analytical acumen

• Motivated by trial work and courtroom advocacy

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
