Job Overview:
A prominent AV/Superlawyer rated law firm based in downtown San Diego is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Litigation Partner. This full-time on-site position offers the opportunity to lead complex trust, probate, and estate litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in trial, litigation, and appeals within the Trusts & Estates practice area, as well as an interest in law firm ownership and management responsibilities.

Location:
San Diego, CA

Duties:

• Lead and manage complex trust and estate litigation matters, including trials and appeals.
• Handle day-to-day tasks related to disputed trust and probate cases, working closely with clients and legal teams.
• Solve multi-million dollar problems through effective litigation strategies.
• Oversee the management of the law firm’s Trusts & Estates litigation department.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the firm with potential ownership opportunities.
• Represent individual and fiduciary clients in complex litigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Trusts & Estates litigation.
• Proven experience in trial and appellate work, with a successful track record in complex trust and probate cases.
• Strong leadership abilities and a willingness to take on law firm management responsibilities.
• Interest in law firm ownership and contributing to firm growth.
• Active Bar membership in California.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• California State Bar membership in good standing.
