A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney specializing in Family Law to join their team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in family law and a strong understanding of California legal codes.

Duties

• Manage caseload effectively.
• Oversee and guide the legal team.
• Examine case deadlines and delegate tasks accordingly.
• Review all materials before filing or service.
• Prepare complex pleadings and legal documents.
• Draft correspondence to clients, experts, and opposing attorneys.
• Meet with clients and experts to discuss case details.
• Represent clients at court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences.

Requirements

• 5+ years practicing family law or equivalent litigation experience.
• In-depth knowledge of California Family Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code.
• Experience in courtroom settings, including evidentiary hearings and trials.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Prior leadership or management experience.
• Proficient in Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Xspouse/Xarrears.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license.
