Public Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a seasoned Public Finance Associate Attorney with 7-9 years of experience in project finance/public finance, particularly in transportation, water/wastewater, and public building projects. The ideal candidate will be a member of the California Bar with excellent academic credentials, superior research, and writing skills.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support in project finance/public finance transactions.
• Act as bond counsel, underwriter counsel (preferably on project finance transactions), lender’s counsel, and/or sponsor/equity counsel.
• Conduct due diligence and draft legal documents related to finance transactions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate transactions.

Requirements:

• 7-9 years of experience in project finance/public finance.
• Extensive experience in transportation, water/wastewater, and public building projects.
• Membership in the California Bar.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar membership.
