Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking two Associate Attorneys with 2 to 5 years of litigation experience to join its Product Liability & Mass Torts practice group. This team handles complex, high-stakes litigation, including individual, multidistrict, class action, and mass tort cases on behalf of leading product manufacturers across diverse industries. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with trial teams in some of the most challenging jurisdictions and provides strong professional development in a collaborative legal environment.

Location:

• Chicago, IL

Duties:

• Participate in trial teams managing high-impact product liability, mass tort, and class action litigation

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Conduct legal research and provide strategic litigation support

• Assist with discovery, including depositions and expert coordination

• Support client counseling on litigation risk and case strategy

• Collaborate with internal legal teams across offices and disciplines

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of relevant tort litigation experience

• Experience in mass torts, product liability, and/or toxic/environmental torts

• Prior work in a large law firm or similar high-level litigation practice

• Demonstrated excellence in research, writing, and oral advocacy

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment

• Local bar admission in the jurisdiction of the chosen office

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar

• Eligibility for admission in the selected office location
