The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation and administrative defense, with strong analytical, research, and advocacy skills. They should be capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Duties

• Manage all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in administrative defense matters, including investigations and hearings.
• Identify and collect relevant evidence, conduct legal research, and draft legal documents.
• Attend court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients regarding case evaluations and potential resolutions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on complex cases.
• Conduct initial consultations and manage client onboarding.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation in AZ; administrative defense experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with MyCase, WestLaw, and NexisLexis.
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and client service.
• Openness and eagerness to learn and expand competency in various case types.
• Team player mentality.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
