Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate to join its Commercial Litigation group in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience managing key phases of complex commercial disputes, including trial preparation and strategy.

Duties

• Manage written and document discovery processes.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist with witness preparation.
• Support all aspects of trial preparation and strategy.

Requirements

• Admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of the primary office.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in law firm and/or clerkship preferred.
• Experience with both defense and plaintiff side litigation is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Effective case management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
