Tenure-Track Professor of Law

The candidate will be responsible to teach first-year and upper-level courses in the Juris Doctor program, as assigned by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and will conduct research and publish scholarly works. Serve as advisors to students, maintain regular office hours, participate in faculty governance, and participate in programs and initiatives in support of the School of Law mission. Meeting and otherwise communicating with students individually in connection with classes taught. Conducting original research and writing scholarly works. Participating in scholarly workshops and conferences internally and externally. Advising and counseling students and student organizations. Participating in faculty governance by committee service at the law school and university. Attending graduation, faculty meetings, and student and alumni events. Should exhibit a strong academic performance leading to a JD or equivalent degree and have relevant experience such as teaching, legal practice, or judicial clerkship. Excellent academic background is preferred.
