Strategy and Change Analyst

Duties: The candidate will be assisting with the global Strategic Planning Process. Working with the Directory of Strategy & Execution to identify initiatives and projects that both align with, and help to deliver, the firm’s strategies (generally established in three-year terms). Supporting metric development against which progress towards achieving the identified strategic objectives are measured. Working with the US RMPs in the delivery of the strategic planning process to identify and assess potential strategic geographic, business line and adjacency opportunities. Identifying future trends in the broader business environment, legal services and society itself to identify challenges to which the firm can respond to proactively to create opportunities in line with the firm’s strategy. Supporting the Evolution of culture and incentives: Ensuring incentives, policies, culture, and actions of leaders align with agreed . Establish and maintain credibility among firm leadership and the partners regarding strategic initiatives. Bring a mix of creative, critical and objective thinking to challenge accepted norms and approaches. Provide effective and influential communication and leadership, overcoming objections to deliver initiatives in a timely manner. Maintain clarity about values, vision, meaning, and purpose and ensures these are present in their work everyday. Volunteer or be selected to serve on special committees, work groups, project teams, or escalation teams related to various Firmwide initiatives. Initiatives may be specific one-time events or ongoing activities. Keep abreast of developments in the business and trends through regular reading, contact with vendors and peers, attendance at seminars, expositions, classes, and professional meetings.
