Duties

• Draft and prosecute a high volume of patent applications.
• Manage multiple active patent portfolios domestically and internationally.
• Represent start-up and mature companies in patent matters.
• Prepare design guidance, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions.
• Liaise directly with clients and business teams.
• Work with foreign counsel on international patent applications.

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution.
• Background in AI, machine learning, software, or related fields.
• Experience as a USPTO Examiner is a plus.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Experience working remotely with occasional travel.

Education

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, AI, or data science.
• Advanced degree in the above areas is a plus.

Certifications

• USPTO Registration.
