Tax Associate Attorney

A law firm is currently seeking a Tax Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of M&A tax experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing tax-related legal counsel and support in the context of mergers and acquisitions.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough tax analysis in the context of M&A transactions.
• Provide tax support for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Perform tax due diligence to assess potential risks and opportunities.
• Offer tax advice and counsel to clients on a range of issues.
• Review and draft tax-related documentation, including agreements and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations and conduct research as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-4 years of M&A tax experience.
• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
