Job Overview

A law firm seeks a senior corporate associate to join its team in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will work with start-ups, emerging growth companies, and engage in seed and venture capital financings, growth and private equity, and mergers and acquisitions.

Duties

• Counsel early-stage entrepreneurs and companies.
• Represent companies and venture funds in financing rounds and M&A.
• Engage in investor-side financing in growth equity rounds.
• Maintain significant client contact, including with CEOs and Boards of Directors.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in private company financings.
• Experience in maintaining client relationships.
• Ability to handle multiple client matters concurrently.
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of Massachusetts.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar of Massachusetts or eligible for admission.

Skills

• Experience with venture capital financings, growth, and private equity.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
