Job Overview
A prominent national law firm is seeking a highly qualified Senior Associate Attorney with 6+ years of experience to join its Structured Finance team. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience representing financial institutions in a variety of asset-backed securitizations and structured lending transactions. This position is best suited for professionals with a strong background in capital markets, private credit, or leveraged finance, and a demonstrated interest in complex securitization structures. The role will involve working with a high-performing team on cutting-edge financial transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Location

• Miami, FL

Duties

• Represent financial institutions (issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, purchasers) in structured finance transactions

• Advise on asset-backed securitizations, warehouse lending, repo finance, and structured private credit facilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documentation

• Structure financing arrangements across various asset classes

• Support transactions related to digital infrastructure and trade receivables

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients on regulatory and transactional matters

• Lead and mentor junior associates and support staff when required

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in structured finance or related capital markets transactions

• Experience advising on securitization, private credit, or structured lending deals

• Ability to manage complex financial transactions independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated experience with large law firms is strongly preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar (New York, Texas, or Florida preferred depending on location)

Skills

• Strong working knowledge of asset-backed finance and structured lending

• Proficiency in capital markets law and transactional documentation

• Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills

• Strong interpersonal and client management abilities

• Capable of managing high-volume, high-value deals under tight deadlines

• Team-oriented with strong mentoring capabilities
