A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will manage case files from inception to resolution, possess excellent credentials, and demonstrate a passion for client advocacy. A minimum of two years of successful personal injury pre-suit experience is required.

Duties

• Oversee a docket of pre-litigation personal injury files.
• Maintain updated status documentation in the case management system.
• Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed.
• Strategize and execute optimal case resolutions.
• Determine value ranges for claims.
• Negotiate pre-litigation settlements with insurance companies.
• Review and finalize settlement releases.
• Handle medical and other liens.
• Provide daily oversight of the legal assistant team.
• Assist with new case evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and J.D. degree required.
• State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership mandatory.
• Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, wrongful death, civil law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice.
• Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency is essential.
