This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators on complex commercial and civil litigation matters, as well as transactional work involving franchising, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate strategy. The position is suited for an attorney eager to manage cases from inception through trial and appeal while receiving hands-on mentorship in a dynamic legal environment.

Location

Duties

• Manage litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeals

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct written discovery and take/defend depositions

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

• Collaborate on the development of litigation and trial strategies

• Advise clients on legal risks, strategic options, and settlement opportunities

• Assist with transactional matters, including:

  • Franchise disclosure and compliance

  • Business formation and strategy

  • Mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures

  • Licensing and corporate governance agreements

Requirements

• Experience handling commercial litigation or complex civil disputes

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team setting

• Proven ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines

• Interest in trial practice, business law, and client strategy

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado (or eligibility to waive in)
