Job Overview:

A respected law firm in Wexford, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its family law practice. The ideal candidate will bring experience in domestic relations, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate confidence and professionalism in and out of the courtroom. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and meaningful family law matters in a supportive, client-centered environment.

Location:

• Wexford, PA

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and protection from abuse

• Attend court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings

• Conduct client consultations and maintain ongoing communication

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents

• Negotiate settlements and parenting plans

• Collaborate with firm colleagues and staff to ensure timely progression of cases

• Maintain organized case files and meet internal deadlines

Requirements:

• Prior experience in family law strongly preferred

• Ability to appear in court and handle a full caseload independently

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic

• Availability to work a standard Monday–Friday schedule

• Willingness to relocate or commute reliably to Wexford, PA

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
