A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Mergers & Acquisitions Clearance Team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in Antitrust/Competition related M&A clearance.

Duties

• Assess HSR reportability and prepare HSR forms.
• Manage filing preparation and coordinate with clients and teams.
• Engage in substantive antitrust analysis of competitor transactions.
• Respond to Second Requests and provide general antitrust counseling.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of Antitrust/Competition M&A clearance experience.
• Background in regulatory/corporate M&A or private equity is a plus.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Illinois.
