A well-established law firm in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in personal injury law and will be responsible for managing cases from intake to trial. Location:

Duties:

• Meet with clients to provide legal counsel and case advice.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of discovery in personal injury cases.
• Represent clients in motions practice and court hearings.
• Handle a diverse and active caseload, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
• Represent clients at trial, presenting cases effectively to judges and juries.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in New York.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Experience with medical malpractice or labor law cases is a plus but not required.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to manage a case load and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar required.

Skills:

• Expertise in personal injury law and litigation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct depositions and manage discovery processes.
• Trial experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
