Contracts Analyst
The candidate will assist with professionally drafting documents, agreements and contracts pertaining to the business of the company. Assist with ensuring that documents and proposals of the company are strictly in compliance with the rules and regulations issued by governing agencies. Review contracts, submitted bids and proposals, and subcontracts for accuracy, completeness, adherence to specifications and regulations, language and terms and other contractual matters. Proofread contract-related documents for accuracy, examining them for correctness and other considerations, and recommends solutions. Provide management with efficient administrative support with business issues, policies, rules and regulations of the construction industry. Interact with colleagues, public agencies, vendors, developers, contractors, consultants and the general public in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner. Multi-task in a diverse and fast paced environment. Collect, review, and verify lien releases for vendors. Assist with preserving, prosecuting and defending the claims of the company. Provide administrative support on a variety of matters, including but not limited to construction, insurance, regulatory, collection and employment issues. Assist the Vice President of Legal Affairs in Equal Employment Opportunity training and investigations. Process mail for the legal team and process legal expenses for prompt payment. Assist with processing and submitting environmental permit applications. Execute special projects as directed by the Vice President of Legal Affairs. Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law, Business Administration or related field. Should have 3 years of previous experience in contract review/preparation or related role. Previous administrative experience in the construction industry (preferred, not required). Bilingual read/write both English & Spanish fluently (preferred, not required).
