A prominent law firm in Towson, MD, seeks a skilled Associate Attorney to support its Real Estate Practice Group, specifically in litigation involving multi-family housing and landlord-tenant disputes. This opportunity allows direct client interaction and strategic case involvement within a growing practice. The role is ideal for a motivated litigator with a genuine interest in property law and tenant relations.

Duties:

• Represent clients in real estate-related disputes, focusing on multi-family and landlord-tenant litigation

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal memoranda

• Manage case files from intake through resolution, including appearances at hearings, mediations, and trials

• Advise clients on real estate compliance and tenancy matters

• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on complex matters

• Maintain active involvement in the local legal and professional community

Requirements:

• Admitted to the Maryland Bar with active, good standing

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation (real estate preferred)

• Demonstrated knowledge or interest in multi-family housing and tenant law

• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Maryland
