Duties

  • Represent creditors in residential mortgage default servicing, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and eviction matters.
  • Supervise and mentor attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

  • Provide legal counsel in complex matters as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to set goals and develop strategies.

  • Serve as a liaison between the legal team and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in MS.
  • Minimum of 8 years of legal practice experience in foreclosure and bankruptcy.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing caseloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in litigation and real estate law.
  • Business development experience and ability to contribute to firm growth.
  • Prior law firm management experience.

Education
