A law firm seeks an Associate to join its Litigation group, focusing on Product Liability, Mass Torts, and Class Actions in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves working with the Class Actions practice, providing an opportunity to engage in meaningful legal work and career growth.

Duties

• Assist in managing cases from inception to resolution, including legal research and drafting pleadings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs and motions.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
• Participate in professional development and pro bono work.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience with class action defense, including securities, data privacy, or consumer litigation.
• Experience managing multi-matter dockets and running large-scale discovery.
• Previous federal clerkship preferred.
• Strong persuasive legal writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
