Duties

• Represent policyholders in first-party property insurance matters, including coverage disputes and claim denials.
• Review insurance policies and related documents to assess coverage and build strong cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop strategies and stay updated on relevant laws.
• Manage a diverse caseload, drafting legal documents and maintaining organized documentation.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to achieve favorable settlements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Provide legal advice to policyholders regarding their rights and options.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management.
• Engage in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, with expertise in first-party property insurance law preferred.
• Proven ability to generate new business and develop client relationships.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and trial skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the applicable state bar.
