Job Title: Professional Liability Attorney

Job Overview:
A highly regarded law firm in Torrance, CA, is seeking an experienced Professional Liability Attorney to join a growing, dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to manage a variety of professional liability cases, with a focus on legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and related matters. The role involves handling business litigation and working closely with clients to provide high-quality legal services. Remote or hybrid work options are available, and candidates can be based in various locations.

Duties:

• Manage a full litigation caseload from start to finish
• Handle professional liability matters, including malpractice cases and claims against attorneys, insurance agents/brokers, accountants, and real estate agents
• Communicate with clients and provide regular status updates
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in trial preparation and trials
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to ensure quality representation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business litigation
• Experience in professional liability, legal malpractice, and/or accounting malpractice is preferred
• Admitted to practice law in California

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California
