A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in Alexandria, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, with a minimum of three years of practice in Virginia. This full-time role requires a Virginia Bar membership, with additional Bar memberships in Maryland or D.C. considered advantageous.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of case management, including client intake and case preparation.
• Conduct case evaluations and draft pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate settlements.
• Mentor and guide less-experienced associates in personal injury work.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to legal practice.

Requirements

• Virginia Bar admission required; additional Bar admissions in D.C. and MD are helpful.
• Minimum of two years of personal injury experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Virginia Bar membership.
