Job Overview: A prominent law firm in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. This position involves active engagement in complex litigation within the commercial insurance sector, encompassing multiple types of coverage disputes. Ideal candidates will have a comprehensive background in managing all phases of litigation, with a focus on insurance-related matters and a commitment to effective client communication and proactive strategy development.

Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support insurance coverage litigation cases.
• Prepare, draft, and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with high accuracy.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Manage and prioritize a diverse and evolving caseload effectively.
• Collaborate closely with partners and other team members on complex litigation issues.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, judges, mediators, arbitrators, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic discussions and case planning for effective litigation management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• Admission to the Oklahoma State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, particularly within the commercial insurance sector.
• Proficiency in handling all phases of complex commercial litigation.
• Experience with client communications, especially concerning coverage issues and policy evaluations.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership and good standing with the Oklahoma State Bar.

Skills:
