Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate commitment letters and loan documentation.
• Prepare and review issues lists and conduct legal research.
• Manage deal teams and processes from initiation to closing.
• Conduct due diligence and assist with deal administration.
• Provide direct assistance to partners and lead negotiations.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Participate in business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
• 6 years of experience advising on financing transactions.
• Experience with leveraged finance and liability management transactions.

Education

• J.D., LL.M., or U.S. equivalent in law.

Certifications

• New York State Bar admission.
