Key Responsibilities:

• Represent claimants in workers' compensation cases, advocating for their rights and benefits.
• Manage cases from initial intake to final resolution, including hearings and appeals.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client cases.
• Prepare and file necessary legal documents, including petitions and settlement agreements.
• Spearhead the workers' compensation department, providing leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Virginia workers' compensation laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with ongoing support and communication.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Virginia State Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience representing claimants in workers' compensation cases in Virginia.
