A law firm specializing in family law is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney to join its team. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients across Texas, focusing on family law matters such as divorce, child custody, and property division.
  • Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing for hearings and trials.
  • Advocate in court to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Provide empathetic support to clients, balancing client care with maintaining strong professional boundaries.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to achieve positive outcomes and contribute to a supportive work culture.
  • Manage high-conflict cases with a solution-focused approach.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law, with a strong background in litigation and courtroom experience.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas, in good standing.
  • Board certification in family law is a plus.
  • Experience in handling high-conflict family law cases, particularly involving divorce and child custody.
  • Proven success in drafting legal documents and preparing cases for trial.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (required).
  • Board certification in family law (preferred, but not required).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent legal writing and drafting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Empathy and emotional intelligence in client relations.
  • Ability to manage high-conflict cases effectively.
