A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Transactional Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join its dynamic legal team in Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will handle complex transactional matters, advise on financing structures, and support private lending initiatives. This hybrid role requires both independent execution and collaboration with internal teams and clients.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security instruments, and related contracts.
• Structure and close real estate finance transactions, ensuring legal compliance.
• Conduct due diligence on real estate assets and financing arrangements.
• Provide legal guidance on real estate financing structures and private lending matters.
• Advise clients on regulatory requirements and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external counsel for seamless transaction execution.
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• Assist with special projects and provide general legal support as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited American law school.
• Bar Admission: Must be admitted to practice law in California.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in transactional real estate finance; private lending experience preferred.
• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Two professional references and a valid criminal background check required.
