A law firm seeks an attorney for their Washington, DC offices to manage and supervise patent prosecution, due diligence, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science and experience in handling large client portfolios globally.

Duties

• Supervise and train technical specialists and junior attorneys.
• Manage patent prosecution, due diligence, and FTO matters.
• Lead client meetings and provide strategic counseling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Licensed to practice before the USPTO and in a state where the firm has an office.

Education

• Advanced degree in vaccines, mRNA technology, biochemistry, peptide chemistry, gene therapy, immunology, or antibodies preferred.

Certifications

• USPTO registration required.
